September in bullet points (well, more like stars):

LOSS, A Virtual Exhibition at Woman Made Gallery, Chicago. I was delighted to have “Garden” part of LOSS, especially since the show opened on September 4, the birthday of one of my people whose time is no more. It’s been 13 years since her passing and not only that it hasn’t gotten any easier, but the void is getting bigger each day. She was a force - unstoppable, unforgettable, expansive. She was the bravest woman I’ve ever known and a great storyteller. She has always been (and still is) my WWSD (What Would She Do) when I feel lost or in doubt. [and the answer is always “she would crush it’]
You can read more about the show and see all the works here.

* Dis/harmony at PH21 Gallery, Budapest, Hungary. I have 2 pieces (Boom and Erie) hanging in this show, which is a curated international photography exhibition in their Main Gallery and the Project Room. This show opened on my birthday and it’s up until October 17. The entire selection can be also viewed on their website

* The sign up sheet for The Mélange, my monthly newsletter, was up since mid-September. The Mélange aims to complement the news section on my website, while getting more personal on behind-the-scenes, new works, shows and happenings. It goes out on the 7th of each month, starting with October. You can sign up here, I’d love to have you join my email club!

That’s about it for September, but I’ll see you soon!
